This is about experiencing a different London, to get behind and inside. We travel across London everyday back and forth, but this big piece of land can be experienced in other ways from what we are used to.

With a canoe we can get wet, tired and bewildered of the physical nature of London and by the size of it. We need to bring some food and maybe a torch because it might be long between the corner shops and it might get dark before we are home again.

The journeys are documented in a small book and a black and white film from where the clip above is taken. The project was exhibited in June as one of my graduation pieces at Royal College of Art.
